Is the cork tabletop perfectly flat? NO, it's not. As corks are different sizes, shapes and textures, variances are expected in the final surface. Your wine glass is on an uneven surface and may tip or fall, for stability a glass top is recommended which will enhance the beauty of your table as well provide a stable surface for wineglasses. Remember, wineglasses are top heavy, most other beverage containers shouldn't have stability issues.
How do I clean it if something spills? Soap and water. Also, every once in a while a little furniture polish helps clean, protect and bring the natural cork colors out in your table.
